Express grooming services

Published 2026-05-03

Standard salon grooming has dogs in cages between bath and haircut, often for 4–6 hours total. Express service skips the wait — your dog goes straight from drop-off to bath to dry to cut to pickup, no caging.

Cost: 20–40% more than standard grooming. Worth it for anxious dogs, dogs that can't tolerate cages, and owners with tight schedules.

Florida salons offering express service usually require a one-on-one stylist for the entire appointment. They can't take walk-ins during your slot.

What's included: same as a full groom — bath, dry, haircut, ears, nails, sanitary trim — just done back-to-back instead of with breaks. Total time: 60–120 minutes depending on size and coat.

Best candidates: small dogs (faster overall), dogs that hate kennels, multi-dog households where pickup logistics matter, and owners on tight schedules.

Not all Florida salons offer express. Mobile grooming is essentially express-by-default — you're the only customer in the van.

To find express service: search "express grooming" plus your city, or ask any salon if they offer "no-cage" or "one-on-one" appointments.
